Vera’s glass bowls are always an eye-catcher.
The special layering technique is particularly exciting in glassworks: how will the color turn out after cooling for 6 weeks in a cooling oven? Because while working with it, the burning hot, viscous glass always glows in orange.
And the anxious question of how many pieces will actually survive causes the trembling feeling. Because two-thirds of these beautiful glass Marbles break in the cooling oven during the weeks of waiting. This is due to the inner tension caused by the extent of the coloured glass between the layers.
So each Marble is a colourful, cheerful sign of the beauty that has survived.
